This service is another one of OU Kosher support services created to help certified companies. The directory has grown to include over 500 copackers, each listing their production services along with a company description. Services include helping with product marketing, training courses for kosher production, and sourcing ingredients.
The U.S. contract packaging market was valued at approximately $45 billion in 2022 and is anticipated to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 6% from 2023 to 2032, reaching an estimated value of $90 billion by 2032. This growth is driven by factors such as the increasing demand for efficient packaging solutions, the rise of e-commerce, and the need for specialized packaging in various industries, including food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, and personal care (Future Insights) (Global Market Insights Inc.).
For many companies, contract manufacturing can be more cost-effective, allowing them to focus on their core businesses. Outsourcing manufacturing can also help provide access to new regional markets for those in the U.S. and for those in other countries interested in selling to the US market.
