Try this cake on mom’s or dad’s next birthday. Try frosting it with this Cream Cheese Icing,

Ingredients
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1½ cups oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups grated carrot
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
  1. Mix first six ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to make batter.
  3. Pour batter evenly into 2 greased 9” layer pans.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  5. Frost with cream cheese icing, if desired.
