Try this cake on mom’s or dad’s next birthday. You can frost it with this Cream Cheese Icing,
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1½ cups oil
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups grated carrot
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Mix first six ingredients in a bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients to make batter.
- Pour batter evenly into 2 greased 9” layer pans.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
- Frost with cream cheese icing, if desired.
