Turkey Loaf with Gravy
This recipe is kosher for Passover.

  • 1 lb. raw ground turkey
  • ½ onion, diced
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup matzah meal or potato starch
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper

  • ½ cup oil
  • ½ onion sliced
  • ¼ lb. mushrooms, diced
  • 1 Tablespoon potato starch
  • 1½ cups water
  • Salt and pepper

  1. Heat oil in small pan. Add onions and sauté until lightly brown.
  2. Put turkey, matzah meal and spices in greased foil loaf pan. Mix well, add onions with the oil. Pat down.
  3. Bake at 375°F about 45 minutes. Meanwhile make the gravy.

  4. Heat oil, add onions and mushrooms. Sauté until soft.
  5. Stir starch into cold water and add to onion mixture. Heat, stirring well until it thickens. Season to taste.
  6. Serve hot over sliced turkey loaf.

Remember to make an Eruv Tavshilin!
