A quick and easy sauce recipe that can be poured over a dish or used as a dipping sauce.
- ⅓ cup rice wine vinegar
- 4 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 4 teaspoons water
- In a small sauce pan mix together the vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, and soy sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- In a small bowl mix together the cornstarch and water, add to the other ingredients and stir to thicken.
Makes 2/3 cup.
This recipe can be doubled or tripled.
