Rye Caraway Bread for the Bread Machine

Ingredients
  • 1¼ cups water
  • 1 Tablespoon butter, softened
  • 2½ cups bread flour
  • ¾ cup rye flour
  • 2 Tablespoons dry milk
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • ¾ teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 2¾ teaspoons regular dry yeast or 2½ teaspoons quick-acting dry yeast

Instructions
  1. Combine all the ingredients according to the manufacturer's directions.
    The caraway seeds may be omitted for seedless rye bread.
  2. Bake on Whole Wheat Bread cycle.
