- 1 cup mayonnaise, yogurt, or sour cream or a mixture of 2 of these
- 2 Tablespoons wine or cider vinegar
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 teaspoon basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a bowl combine all the ingredients together and mix to combine.
- Mix into pasta salad and let set for 15 to 20 minutes for the flavors to meld.
