Can be pareve when using non-dairy options.
- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 2 medium whole potatoes
- ½ cup milk OR ½ cup pareve milk OR 1 beaten egg
- 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Peel and dice both kinds of potatoes.
- Put in pot, add 1 teaspoon salt, cover with water, and bring to a boil.
- Cook for about 20 minutes or until soft. Drain well.
- Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Mash well.
