Everyone, regardless of their dietetic restrictions, should have the opportunity to enjoy a frosty glass of lemonade.

Nutrition information per serving (8-oz.): 44 calories., 1 g protein., 12 g carbohydrates., 0 g fat, 0 mg cholesterol., 5 mg sodium.

Food Exchanges: 1/2 Fruit.

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (4 to 5 lemons)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (3 to 4 oranges)
  • 12 packets Equal sweetener or 3½ teaspoons Equal for Recipes
  • 3 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Lemon slices
  • Optional: Mint sprigs

  1. In a large pitcher combine juices and Equal; stir to dissolve.
  2. Stir in water.
  3. Cover and chill.

Serve over ice.

Garnish each serving with a lemon slice and mint sprig, if desired.
