Cherry Gin Punch

This punch packs a punch so drink sparingly.

  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 (48 oz.) can pineapple juice
  • 1 (48 oz.) can grapefruit juice
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, undrained
  • 2 cups gin
  • 1 (33⅞ oz.) bottle ginger ale, chilled

  1. Combine the water and sugar in large saucepan. Bring to boil and stir until dissolved; cool.
  2. Combine sugar mixture, juices, and cherries, chill.
  3. In a punch bowl, just before serving, combine the sugar-juice mixture with the gin and ginger ale.

Remember to make an Eruv Tavshilin!
