This punch packs a punch so drink sparingly.
- 6 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 (48 oz.) can pineapple juice
- 1 (48 oz.) can grapefruit juice
- 1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, undrained
- 2 cups gin
- 1 (33⅞ oz.) bottle ginger ale, chilled
- Combine the water and sugar in large saucepan. Bring to boil and stir until dissolved; cool.
- Combine sugar mixture, juices, and cherries, chill.
- In a punch bowl, just before serving, combine the sugar-juice mixture with the gin and ginger ale.
