Most Americans eat some kosher food every day, but chances are they’re not aware of it. Take a walk down the aisles of any supermarket and you will see that certification appears on over 60% of America’s produced foods that are certified kosher, from the coveted Oreo to the thirst-quenching Coca-Cola. Over $150 billion of kosher certified products are consumed annually, and spending continues to rise dramatically.
In a bowl combine the one cup water, brown sugar and yeast. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Add the remaining water, oil, honey milk and salt. Mix together the ingredients and then add the flours.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans and put them in a cold oven. Turn oven on to 350°F for 1 min., then turn oven off for 15 minutes. Turn the oven back on to 350°F and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven. Cool for 10 to 15 minutes and remove from the pan.
