Ingredients
  • 3 onions
  • 1 zucchini
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 sweet potato
  • 5 white potatoes
  • ½ cup rice
  • ½ cup barley
  • ½ cup kasha
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt, pepper, & garlic to taste
  • Meat (optional)
  • Chicken (optional)

Instructions
  1. Place all the ingredients in a pot and cook at 350°F for a 1/2 hour.
  2. Lower the temperature to 300°F and allow to simmer for another hour.
  3. Make sure that the water is covering all the ingredients, reduce the heat to 250°F and place the kishke on top.
