Most Americans eat some kosher food every day, but chances are they’re not aware of it. Over $150 billion of kosher certified products are consumed annually, and spending continues to rise dramatically.
Orgullo Mexicano Queso Cotija, a cheese sold in the NY NJ area (an possibly elsewhere), is not certified by the Orthodox Union and bears an unauthorized OU mark. Corrective measures are being implemented.
