How to Make Crispy Rice Squares

Making crispy rice is a simple process. All you need is rice, rice vinegar, sugar, salt and neutral oil for the frying. The rice itself you heat up in a pot. After cooked, let it steam in the pot for a few minutes. You can separately warm up the rice vinegar, sugar and salt. Then you pour the mixture into the rice. You then place it in a square or rectangular pan and either put in the refrigerator overnight or put it in the refrigerator for an hour and then freeze it for an hour. Then you cut the cold rice block in the pan into small squares and it’s ready to be fried.

For frying, use neutral oil, and fry for about 15 minutes, turning them over in the middle. You’re ready now for your fish topping.
