Unauthorized OU

Jen’s Noodles is not certified by the Orthodox Union and bears an unauthorized OU symbol.  This product is being sold in Australia.  Corrective actions have been implemented.

Kosher Alert Wegmans Cherry Mixed Fruit

Unauthorized OU

Wegmans Cherry Mixed Fruit is not certified by the Orthodox Union.  Some packaging with UPC Code 77890-25290  mistakenly bears the OU symbol.  Corrective actions have been implemented.

Kosher Advisory Wonder Bread

The Orthodox Union is now certifying Wonder Bread products in certain (but not all) regions of the USA.  Wonder Bread products that are certified by the Orthodox Union bear the OU symbol.  Wonder Bread products that do not bear the OU symbol are not certified by the Orthodox Union.

Riserva Dante Potato Gnocchi is not certified by the Orthodox Union and bears an unauthorized OU symbol.  This product is sold in Canada.  Corrective actions have been implemented.

El Mexicano Casero whole milk cheese is not certified by the Orthodox Union.  Some promotional materials were printed with an OU mark on them, although the actual product has no OU symbol on it.  Corrective actions have been implemented.

Issue:

Missing D – Dairy designation

Orgain Healthy Kids Nutritional Shakes (all varieties) contains dairy ingredients, as indicated in the allergen statement and ingredient panel, and it is kosher certified by the Orthodox Union as an OU D – Dairy product.  Some packages were mistakenly labeled with an OU, without the “D” designation.   Corrective action has been implemented.

Missing D – Dairy designation.

Sweet Perry Orchards Cashew Medley is certified as an OU Dairy product.  This product contains dairy yogurt chips as indicated on the front and back of the packaging.  Some packages mistakenly have a plain OU without the D Dairy designation.  Corrective actions have been implemented.

Moses Vodka from Global Drinks Finland bears an unauthorized OU P.  The Orthodox Union does not certify this product for Passover or year round use.  Corrective actions have been implemented.
