{"id":3929,"date":"2019-06-20T14:45:05","date_gmt":"2019-06-20T14:45:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oukosher.org\/passover\/?p=3929"},"modified":"2020-03-20T14:46:48","modified_gmt":"2020-03-20T14:46:48","slug":"gluten-free-matzot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oukosher.org\/passover\/articles\/gluten-free-matzot\/","title":{"rendered":"Gluten Free Matzot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Regretfully, because one can only perform the mitzvah of eating matzot at the Seder with a matzah that is made from one of the five varieties of grain (barley, wheat, rye, oats, and spelt), eating matzot using any of the other flours that are gluten free would still not enable one to fulfill the mitzvah.<br \/>\nSome people with gluten allergy use either oat matzah or spelt matzah. While not completely glutenfree, oat matzah is especially soluble and easy to digest.
