OU Kosher supervises nearly\u00a0 250 sites in Israel certifying many thousands of products produced in the holy land. OU\u2019s Rabbi Menachem Genack (CEO) and Rabbi Moshe Elefant (COO) travelled to Israel for a special Jerusalem event to express appreciation to its network of mashgichim<\/em> in Israel. One hundred and twenty attendees were addressed by OU leadership, including newly appointed OU Kosher Chairman Dr. Josh Penn and prominent Rabbis.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Elefant said: OU Kosher is the most recognizable kosher certification in the nation. Our clients are proud to bear the OU Kosher symbol. A luncheon with gedolei Yisroel <\/em>is an appropriate way to honor the people who help make that possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rabbi Genack concluded: \u201cOur mashgichim<\/em> are the backbone of OU Kosher. Their work is the highest level of excellence. Each mashgiach<\/em> in our network is talented and bright, and the OU Kosher team works collaboratively together and learns from each other every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

OU Israel Kashrut Director, Rabbi Yissachar Dov Krakowski added retrospectively: Since the conference, I\u2019ve been getting non-stop messages from the mashgichim<\/em> about how much they enjoyed it.
