Missing “D”- Dairy designation
Fred’s Taco Seasoning Mix contains whey (a dairy ingredient) as listed on the ingredient panel. Some products were mistakenly labeled with a plain OU, without the “D” dairy designation. Corrective measures have been implemented.
Company: Effective 5/15/12 Rosa's Pizza located at 350 Fifth Ave, New York, NY 10011 is no longer certified kosher.

Missing D- Dairy designation
Cashew Medley Fruit and Nuts Mix is certified by the Orthodox Union as an OU D- Dairy product. This product contains dairy yogurt chips as indicated on the label. Some labels were mistakenly printed without the “D”designation. Corrective measures have been implemented.
Products: Peppadew Peppers (all varieties)
Company: Peppadew International Europe BV, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Products manufactured by Peppadew International in South Africa bearing the OU symbol are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union. Products distributed by Peppadew International Europe BV (PI Europe) are not certified by the Orthodox Union. Some PI Europe products (including Peppers Stuffed with Cheese) primarily sold in the Netherlands mistakenly bear the OU symbol. Corrective measures are being implemented.
Products: Whole Grain and Wild Rice: Mushroom Recipe
Company: MARS Food US LLC, Rancho Dominguez, CA
Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain and Wild Rice Mushroom Recipe, mistakenly bears an OU symbol and contains a spice packet that is not certified by the Orthodox Union. Corrective measures were implemented.
Products: Wrapped shank bones for the Seder, with no Kosher markings, were made available in some supermarkets. Giant and Stop & Shop offered these bones free of charge. They were displayed in the Kosher meat case. These bones were not Kosher. Consumers who cooked or broiled these bones should consult their local Rabbi regarding the Kosher status of their stoves or utensils. Giant and Stop & Shop’s intentions were to service their valued Kosher consumer. They regret any confusion they have inadvertently caused.

My Choice Frozen Yogurt and Juice Store, located at 845 7th Avenue, New York, NY, printed brochures that display the OU symbol. This store is not certified by the Orthodox Union.

Some packages of Grissol Crispy Baguette – Original, are mistakenly labelled with an OU-D symbol. This product does not contain any dairy ingredients and is certified by the Orthodox Union as pareve. Corrective measures are being implemented.
Products: Cold Rush Frozen Yogurt, Richfield Shopping Center, Clifton, New Jersey
Coupons for the Cold Rush Frozen Yogurt store in the Richfield Shopping Center in Clifton N.J. bear an unauthorized OU symbol. These coupons were distributed in the Passaic-Clifton area. The Orthodox Union does not certify Cold Rush and has no information about the kosher status of that store.
