Products: Brown Rice/Flaxseed & Marinara; Brown Rice/Flaxseed Mac & Cheese
Company: Simply Shari's, Thousand Oaks CA
The Orthodox Union does not certify Simply Shari’s Brown Rice/Flaxseed & Marinara and Brown Rice/Flaxseed Mac & Cheese. These products bear an unauthorized OU. Corrective action has been implemented.
Products: Black Current Grape Nectar
Company: Eurotem CJSC, Armenia
The Orthodox Union does not certify Noyan Black Current Grape Nectar. Some cartons were mistakenly labeled with an OU symbol. Corrective measures have been implemented.
Company: Non-Certified Osi's Kitchen, Las Vegas NV
A non-certified restaurant, Osi’s Kitchen, located at 4604 West Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas, printed a business card that includes the OU mark. The Orthodox Union does not certify Osi’s Kitchen. Corrective actions are being implemented.
Products: Salad Seasoning
Company: Clark Associates, Lancaster PA
The Orthodox Union does not certify Regal Spice Salad Seasoning. This product bears and unauthorized OU symbol. Corrective actions have been implemented.
Products: Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
Recent media reports stated that there is a new Parmigiano Reggiano cheese made with kosher animal rennet which will be recognized as kosher by the Orthodox Union.
These reports are inaccurate. The Orthodox Union reviewed the kosher status of animal rennet and determined that currently there is no animal rennet that meets OU kosher standards for the production of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses made with animal rennet are, therefore, NOT considered kosher by the OU.
Products: Sweet'n Low Butterscotch Hard Candy
Company: Paskesz Candy Co. Brooklyn, NY
The Orthodox Union certifies Paskesz/Sweet’n Low Butterscotch Hard Candy as an OU Pareve product. The ingredient panel mistakenly lists a dairy ingredient that was not used in the production of this Paskesz candy.
Products: Caramel Popcorn
Company: 7-Eleven Mexico
The Orthodox Union does not certify 7 Select Caramel Popcorn, made and sold in 7-Eleven stores in Mexico. Some packaging may bear an unauthorized OU mark. Corrective actions have been implemented.

Company: Spring Creek Holdings, LLC Barrington IL
Missing D – Dairy Designation
The Orthodox Union certifies AirHeads Ice Cream products as OU D – Dairy products. These products contains milk as indicated on the allergen and ingredient statements. Some of the packaging for these products were printed with a plain OU Symbol without the D – Dairy designation. Corrective actions have been implemented.

The Orthodox Union certifies Whole Foods Lemon Herb with Thyme Cooking Seasoning as an OU D – Dairy product. This product contains a dairy ingredient as indicated in the allergen and ingredient statements. Some labels were printed with an OU symbol without the D – Dairy designation. Corrective actions have been implemented.

Company: MW Polar, Province CA
The Orthodox Union does not certify MW Polar Mackerel in Brine. Some cans are mistakenly labeled with an unauthorized OU symbol. Corrective actions are being implemented.
