Modified from Bon Appe’tit December 1996. The Mexican flair comes from the cinnamon and cayenne. Cherries: Small white worms can be found in the inner area of the cherry. (To date, cherries grown in the United States are not considered problematic.) Carefully examine surface of the cherry. Cut cherries open and examine inside for worms.
