Sweet Onion, Spinach, and Swiss Cheese Dip (dairy)

3 large sweet onions coarsely chopped
2 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 package frozen, chopped spinach, defrosted with the water squeezed out
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese


Instructions:

Preheat oven 350. In a skillet saute the onions and garlic in the butter until tender. Remove from heat. Add the Swiss and Parmesan cheese, spinach, mayonnaise and hot sauce. Mix to combine and then transfer the mixture to a 9X13 to baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes until lightly browned. Serve with crackers. Makes 6 cups.
