Snickers Brownies (dairy)

1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 (18.25 ounce) box German chocolate cake mix mix
3/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. In a sauce pan combine the caramels and milk and melt them together over a low heat, stirring to prevent burning. When melted together set the mixture aside. In a bowl combine the cake mix, butter or margarine, peanuts and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Mix to combine. Press half of mixture into prepared baking pan. Bake for 6 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the top with the chocolate chips. Drizzle the caramel mixture over top of chocolate chips. Crumble the remaining dough on top of caramel. Return the pan to the oven and bake fir another 20 minutes. Cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for at least 30 before serving.
