The Tea Nation LLC is a fully owned subsidiary of Southern Sun Teas (Private) Limited, which is a family owned premium tea company. It was setup in 1999 under the laws of Sri Lanka and it has been active in the USA tea market since 2001. We have been producing tea that has won the admiration of the tea connoisseur for the past decade. We are located in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and own and operate a state of the art tea bagging facility in a suburb of Colombo. Our facility is ISO 22000 and HACCP certified. These quality certifications ensure that each cup of tea you enjoy has been processed under the most hygienic conditions. In addition, most of the teas we produce are kosher certified by the Orthodox Union (OU). Our teas meet the most stringent Lion Logo standard awarded by the Sri Lanka Tea Board which monitors the quality of every ounce of tea exported from Sri Lanka. It is also eco-friendly and our packaging is recyclable. In addition to the traditional tea line, we also produce USFDA sealed organic teas certified by IMO and Fair Trade teas.
