This story of "Presidential Standard" vodka was taken from the book "Dionysus' Corals" by Ivan Savchuk. Pages 206, 207 and 208.
The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine held a reception given by Bill Clinton himself. The hostesses prominently displayed Zhitomir vodka with the new label. Nearby, a young man was selling "Presidential", charging just pennies for it. Soon, Bill Clinton noticed the man and came closer to see what he was selling. He was astonished. He laughed loudly for some time, looking at the Zaporozhye kasak image of himself. It was truly a surprise.
- "Well honey", he said to his wife, "We have to buy it"
