Founded in 1946 by Kakuichi Tottori as Honolulu Poi Company, the company started as a small poi milling operation with just three employees.  Today, HPC Foods, Ltd. distributes a variety of products under the Taro Brand label.  The Company is Hawaii’s largest Manufacturer of Poi, Poi Products, Sprouts, and Fresh Cut Fruits and Vegetables.  HPC Foods remains a family owned and operated company.
